Project description
The PADPUS aims to build 34 urban poles across the national territory to promote better economic and social balance and to enhance all regions in line with Axis 3 of the national transformation agenda, Vision 'Senegal 2050'. The project helps reduce inequalities in the distribution of State investments at the territorial level, facilitates access to basic social services, and improves living conditions for disadvantaged populations. It also improves the socioeconomic conditions of vulnerable households and facilitates access to land and housing, particularly for low-income families.

Overall Objective :
- Contribute to rebalancing the urban structure and strengthening the economic architecture of the country to support the national housing program, wealth creation, and decent employment.
Expected results
- Urban poles are equipped with planning documents.
- Land in the poles is developed, secured, and enhanced.
- Major infrastructure and basic social facilities are built and strengthened.
- Human resources in local governments are strengthened in urban planning.
