Project description
The project aims to open up production zones in support of the National Local Development Program (PNDL). It operates in 76 Local Authorities across 12 regions of Senegal: Thiès, Louga, Kaolack, Kolda, Matam, Kaffrine, Fatick, Diourbel, Saint-Louis, Tambacounda, Sédhiou, and Kédougou.

Overall Objective :
- Contribute to strong, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth.
Specific Objectives :
- Improve accessibility to production zones and access to agricultural markets.
- Develop agricultural value chains for young people and women.
- Strengthen access to basic socio-economic services for sustainable territorial development.
- Enhance the capacities of territorial actors.
Expected results
- 58,000 households (approx. 580,000 people) benefit, including 27,000 farming households, 6,000 livestock breeders, and 20,000 households from local organizations.
- Women (36%) and young people (26%) represent 52% of beneficiaries.
- 1,000 MSMEs are created or consolidated, generating over 22,000 jobs, including 3,500 permanent jobs (60% women, 30% youth).
