Project description

Senegal is characterised by an abundance of construction materials found throughout the country (limestone, basalt, sandstone, clay, sand, laterite, ornamental stones such as marble, cipolin, serpentinite, etc.). These materials are essential for infrastructure construction, and some are used
in cement production (limestone, clay, laterite). This highlights the strategic importance of their  management and valorisation, particularly marble in the Kédougou region.
