Axis 1 : Competitive Economy
SO.1.1. Build a high-performing, sustainable and competitive agri-food sector, driving the economic and social transformation of the country
Project leader

Project description
The country’s agriculture relies predominantly on rainfed crops. The total area of arable land is estimated at 3.4 million hectares, of which 2.5 million hectares are cultivated each year. However, the level of land development remains low, making agricultural production highly vulnerable to climate variability. As a result, the availability of key agricultural and livestock products remains insufficient to meet national demand. The project aims to provide farmers and livestock producers with developed, ready-to-use agricultural plots, contributing to national food sovereignty.
