Project description
Agricultural production in the country does not meet national demand, mainly due to the low level of equipment available to farms. Only 12.6% of agricultural households have motorized machinery. The project aims to strengthen mechanization and equipment for actors in agropastoral value chains by establishing service units for pre- and post-harvest operations called Rural Equipment and Infrastructure Management Centers (CGEIR).
