Project description

This project aims to promote employment and access to the labour market in Senegal through next-generation infrastructure in the field of agriculture, by constructing and equipping six vocational high schools in agriculture and agri-food (LPAA).

General Objective

  • Provide young people with high-quality technical and vocational education and training in agricultural professions to foster job creation in the six agricultural and agri-food vocational high schools (LPAA).

Specific Objectives

  •  Build and equip six agricultural and agri-food vocational high schools in Tambacounda, Louga,
    Matam, Diourbel, Kolda, and Thiès
  • Train 8,892 young graduates in the first year, including 720 boarding students
  •  Train 12,612 young graduates in the second year

Expected results

  • Six agricultural and agri-food vocational high schools in Tambacounda, Louga, Matam, Diourbel, Kolda, and Thiès are built and equipped
  • 8,892 young graduates are trained in the first year across 60 specialised professions
  • 12,612 young graduates are trained in the second year across 60 specialised professions
