Project description

The project aims to expand access to professional higher education that aligns with labour market needs. It plans to increase the intake capacity of existing engineering schools (EPT, ESP, ENSA,IPSL, ISFAR, …) and diversify their training programmes to better meet the demand for qualified human resources in key sectors of the economy, as defined in the SND. The project will also strengthen the ISEP network to train qualified mid-level professionals and improve Preparatory Classes, while further linking them to engineering schools. It is part of the transformation of technical higher education by offering training aligned with market requirements and increasing the intake capacity of specialised schools and institutions.

General Objective

Contribute to the training of qualified human resources in priority sectors for Senegal and Africa

Specific Objectives

Increase the intake capacity of engineering schools to enable Senegal to have highly qualified graduates in STEM fields
Build and equip eight (08) Higher Institutes of Professional Education (ISEP) as part of the “ESPOIR JEUNE” project
Strengthen Preparatory Classes for major engineering schools
