The Digitalization of the Informal Sector and Micro-Enterprises project aims to integrate digital technologies to improve efficiency, transparency, and access to financial and administrative services for actors in the informal sector. It focuses on reducing the weight of the informal economy,
expanding the tax base, facilitating identification and geolocation of businesses, integrating informal actors into the digital transformation, and promoting transparency and efficiency in business financing.

Overall Objective
- Facilitate the integration of the informal sector and micro-enterprises into the formal and digital economy
Specific Objectives
- Develop and deploy digital tools for micro-enterprise management (e-tax, e-invoicing, etc.)
- Facilitate identification and geolocation of informal actors via digital systems
- Promote the use of fintech solutions
- Train and raise awareness among informal sector actors on digital tools
- Implement fiscal incentives to encourage formalization
