Project description
The project aims to address saturation issues in the Dakar region, road congestion, and support the development of surrounding areas. Once the AIBD extension is completed, the economic development around Diamniadio and AIBD will generate transversal mobility needs with Thiès, the Petite Côte, the Port of Ndayane and Mbour/Saly. The extension to Thiès will improve the TER economic model by attracting new passenger flows and represents the first stage of the Dakar–Tamba axis under the Senegal 2050 framework.
