Project description
The project consists of widening the former Rufisque road over a distance of 9 km between the Cyrnos roundabout and the Seven Up roundabout, passing via Route des Brasseries, Point Bakou, Route des Hydrocarbures, Capa, Sotiba, and Parc Mbame. It is a priority to support the
organisation of the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar. The intervention includes rehabilitating and developing the existing road into a 2×2 lane roadway with cycling paths, service roads, engineering structures, drainage canals, public lighting, and landscaping. The project is essential due to its role
as a major collector road for the Port of Dakar and the city's central neighbourhoods.
