Project description

The project includes several components, notably: regeneration of quay walls, roadways, and utilities of the Port of Dakar; rehabilitation of Mole 4, Quai 910 (hydrocarbon zone), and all VRD works at the Port of Dakar. It also includes the construction of two dry ports: Tambacounda (100 hectares) and Sandiara (100 hectares), the railway connection of Ndayane Port, and the highway connection of Ndayane Port to the A1 motorway.

Overall Objective:

Improve the competitiveness of the national economy and promote internal and subregional trade.

Specific Objectives:

Participate in the development of growth poles through improved connectivity with Senegal’s seaports.
Establish storage facilities and logistics enabling efficient operations toward the interior of the country, Mali, and Burkina Faso.
Strengthen the operational capacity, security, and mobility of the Port of Dakar.
