Project description

The project consists of the construction, equipment and operation of an air cargo terminal with a handling capacity of 80,000 tonnes/year by 2035, offering high-quality services and optimal connectivity for goods. The project includes four main components:

  1. Development of the terminal platform, aircraft parking, taxiway and utility networks
  2. Construction of the hangar andadministrative buildings
  3.  Equipment (cargo, security and fire protection)
  4. Operation

Overall Objective

  •  Increase the growth of the cargo volume handled at AIBD.

  •  Improve AIBD’s connectivity through new partnerships

  •  Enhance efficiency, productivity and quality of cargo operators at AIBD
  •  Modernise cargo handling and processing equipment
  •  Improve the quality of services offered to airlines and cargo operators
