Project description
The project aims to contribute to food sovereignty, economic development, and sustainable job creation in the Casamance region. It focuses on the development of lowlands and irrigated perimeters, the creation of horticultural farms, and the construction of access roads to open up production zones. These interventions enhance agricultural productivity, strengthen the resilience of vulnerable populations, and support sustainable local development.

Overall Objective:
- Contribute to food sovereignty, economic development, and sustainable job creation in Casamance.
Specific Objectives:
- Sustainably increase agricultural production through the mobilization and management of surface water
- Strengthen local governments in the governance and management of natural resources
- Strengthen the livelihood capacities of vulnerable rural groups, with particular emphasis on children and women.
