Project description

The project consists in implementing: a unified ITS platform, centralized command and information system security; traffic light signaling and passenger information systems; video-based ticketing enforcement; automatic traffic detection combined with video surveillance; and fine processing.

Detect abnormal events/incidents.
Collect traffic flow and enable traffic guidance.
Apply and collect fines in case of reported violations.
Modernize infrastructures and public services, combat corruption, and finance land transport.

Expected results

Continuous 24/7 monitoring of vehicle flow is ensured, improving traffic management through Big Data
Free movement of people and goods is facilitated
A sanction mechanism is established to reduce congestion, road insecurity, and air pollution
Road accident mortality is reduced by 45% over 5 years
