Project description

The National Digital Addressing System Project aims to modernize address management across the country by deploying a unique, standardized, and geolocated digital addressing system. This system enables unique identification of buildings, businesses, and public infrastructure, supports e-commerce and delivery services, strengthens emergency services, improves tax collection, and enhances territorial planning.

Overall Objective:

  • Establish an efficient and secure national digital addressing system covering the entire country.

Specific Objectives:

  • Develop a single and standardized digital addressing system for the entire territory.
  • Create a centralized database to store and manage digital addresses.
  • Ensure interoperability with existing systems (public services, businesses, etc.).

Expected results

  • A fully operational national digital addressing system, offering address location and management services
  • A reduction in delivery times and costs for deliveries, emergency services, and postal services.
  • Accelerating the development of e-commerce and postal activities by providing accurate and reliable addresses
  • Facilitating the work of tax authorities, land registry offices, and public service operators such as water and electricity providers
  • Improved efficiency of public and private services through precise location
