Project description

The Government of Senegal has established the National Housing Access and Urban Renewal Program (PNALRU) to facilitate access to decent housing by targeting both housing supply and demand. The PNALRU aims to improve construction quality and promote a more sustainable and higher-performing construction sector using an integrated approach. It seeks to address the urgent need for 500,000 housing units by offering solutions tailored to various categories of applicants. The program also aims to stimulate the local economy through the development of industrial zones and by improving the urban living environment. The vision is to establish a construction ecosystem and a sustainable economic model enabling housing production for all population groups.
