Project description

The program aims to promote coherent territorial planning to ensure equitable and sustainable development across the national territory. It is structured around the following areas:

Establish eight (08) viable and competitive development poles.
Equip all local authorities and specific zones with planning documents and ensure their implementation.
Promote the implementation of the National Territorial Planning and Development Plan (PNADT).

Overall Objective :

Promote coherent territorial planning for equitable and sustainable national development.

Specific Objectives :

Establish spatial planning tools at the sectoral and territorial levels.
Promote the implementation of structuring territorial development projects proposed under PNADT.
Ensure stakeholder ownership of PNADT and LOADT.
Monitor and evaluate the implementation of PNADT.

Expected results

PNADT and LOADT are fully adopted by all stakeholders.
Spatial planning tools within ministries and local authorities are aligned with PNADT.
Structuring projects proposed under PNADT are implemented.
