Project description
To strengthen community resilience to economic and environmental challenges, the project focuses on increasing agricultural production to improve food security in the target area. By promoting an environment conducive to producer empowerment, the project aims to ensure a stable and sustainable food supply. The intervention includes the rehabilitation of hydro-agricultural infrastructure, the development of new irrigated areas, the extension of cultivation zones due to saturation of existing perimeters (5,000 hectares), and the support of maintenance strategies for hydraulic and hydro-agricultural infrastructures.

Overall Objective :
- Improve food security in the project area by increasing agricultural production.
Specific Objectives :
- Rehabilitate hydro-agricultural developments and hydraulic infrastructures to ensure full water control
- Develop new cultivation areas to address the saturation of existing schemes (5,000 ha)
- Support the implementation of a maintenance strategy for hydraulic and hydro-agricultural infrastructures.
