Project description

The Senegal Smart Cities Project aims to modernize cities through the integration of digital technologies to improve urban management, quality of life for citizens, environmental sustainability, and local economic development. The project promotes intelligent systems for mobility, security, public lighting, waste management, and urban planning, while fostering digital inclusion and innovation.

Overall Objective:

  • Transform selected cities into smart, sustainable, and efficient urban ecosystems through digital technologies.

Specific Objectives:

  • Deploying digital infrastructure (sensors, IoT networks, data centers) to collect and analyze urban data.
  • Implement intelligent management systems for transport, energy, water and waste.
  • Strengthening urban security through intelligent surveillance systems (video surveillance, drones, etc.).
